Posh Graduation Party Ideas - Chic & Stylish Centerpieces

Day 4 of our Graduation Party Series - my favorite thing... Centerpieces!!

Let's face it - the centerpiece is always the star of the party.  The centerpiece pulls the decor together to make one cohesive look.  Try something chic and stylish instead of your typical party store decor and try your hand at these chic centerpiece ideas. These will turn any party into a work of art!

Simple floral arrangement made with peonies or your favorite flower. These flowers were placed in glass vases and lined symmetrically in the middle of the table.  A simple yet chic place setting laid on opposite sides of the centerpiece and voila!

I love this idea from Colin Cowie.  A large votive candle was placed in the middle grass like centerpiece.  You can use grass or any other craft.

A large cylinder vase can be filled with a variety of creative things and topped with branches to add height and dimension to the table.  A simple table setting with stylish plates and silverware will add flare.

Add pops of color to your table with a stylish table runner, colored cloth napkins.
It doesnt take much to create a POSH look.

These are all so glamorous! I had to plan a party this year for my brother though -- I went with a "Geeky" theme since he was getting his Computer Science degree. Check it out: http://www.supermommoments.com/2011/05/geeky-graduation/

Stop by and visit some time and I will do the same! :)

Hi there! So many wonderful and great ideas! My friend is having her wedding this coming June and she wanted me to manage the table decorations for her. She believes in me but honestly, I am quite nervous as I know they'll have a lot of guests over there! I'll bookmark this site and I'll show this wonderful idea to her. Hope she will like one of this great inspirations. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
